Today our class at Dugger Elementary had a great speaker from Bear Run Mine. Josh Phillips shared the development of coal, the mining process, and a great problem for the students to tackle. We will be working on a resolution to share in January when we get to tour this surface mining operation up close and personal. Thanks for sharing your expertise today, Josh, and for the souvenirs, too!
