I learned about rods and cones. cones pick up colors, and rods are very sensitive to light. you have thousands of rods and cones

Cool blog. I'm not sure about the word though."Beginue"... I guess a new year means new words. I learned
the lens was in the back of your eye.

Did you know when your looking at something the same picture is in your head but is upside down. The pupil gets bigger as the lights get dimmer.Because your eyes are trying to find light.
A retina is a tissue in the back of your eye.

I learned that the retina is located in the back of the eye. I also learned that there are more than 20 million cones and rods in your eye. And also that the eye sees things upside down and it turns them right side up instantly.

I learned that I am right eye dominant.I also didn't know that you can have two different eye colors.I then learned how many light sensitive cells the eyes have.

That was very interesting.I learned that light reflects off the retina like a camera.I also learned that the optic nerve carrys the image to the brain.

I loved learning about the eye it was very interesting.Learing about pupil and the lens was my favorite part. I think more people should learn about it.It is weird how the eye is so fragile, but yet so useful.

Hey Miss Walters, it's nice to be back! I forgot how packed with information this class is! I learned a lot about the eyes, like the rods and the cones. Cones are color sensitive, and
the rods are more light sensitve. I did learn a lot about the eyes when I got my glasses, but not this much!

I learned that rods are what pick up color and rods pick up light.I also learned that your pupil isn't a solid it's a hole.

It was interesting. I learned about how we see color and light. I learned about our eyes and their insides. Patrick

I learned that you should never tear your retina!!!And I learned that your retina has millions of cones and rods.

WoW I never knew there were so many parts of the eye its CRAZY!! And the whole retina thing is awesome I mean think of seeing upside down!! What is amazing is that you have little rods in your eyes!!

I think that is soooo interesting! Befor I watched the vidoe I didn't know any thing about my eyes. I learned that we have millions of rodes and cones, I also learned that rodes are very sensitive to light ,and cones can see colors! Thanks soo much for helping me learn and strech my brain.

I was happy you showed it too the class. i didn't realize that our eyes were so much like a camera .it was very interesting that your retina could make you see completely upside down .the lens was interesting for me to learn about . I enjoyed it .

Today I learned that their are more20 millionrods and cones in your eyes. I also learned that when it is dark out your pupils get bigger and vise versia. The last thing I learned is that you see things that they are up side down and your rentea turns them right side up.

The eye contains many things.I learned that the black thing in the middle is apupil. We have over 20million cones and rods in your eye.

we did a lot of cool and informative stuff today. The challenges were awesome!

I learned that the pupil gets bigger when its dark and the pupil gets more little when its dark.

I learned the eye has a lot of stuff in it. I didn'tknow there were rods and cones.I learned there were lens in an eye.

I think the eye is one of the coolest body part, because it's like a mental camera. The lens is like a progector to your brain.

awsome

I learnd how the eye is like a camera. It reflecks light off of objects. Plus how the pupil gets bigger at night.

connor said...

i learned that the pupil gets bigger . cones and rods collect color . i think the eye is cool .

i learned that there is a lot of parts to the eye. Two parts of the eye is the pupil and the lens. Your eye see things upside down but, the brain turns the objects around.

Anonymous said...

I learned that the eye traps light
through the lens on the eye and there are cones inside the eye and the cones tell the color or colors the object is.

I never realized the eye was so interesting. There is so much to know about like the lense focuses on the object and the cones detect color. Also the lense projects an image onto your retina where the rods and cones transoform the light and color into electrical inpulses. Now I know they is more to an eye than just seeing out of it.

the eye is interesting.i wanna learn more things about the eye . ilearned that the len was in the back of the eye.

I learned that the retina sees things uside down. Good thing we dont se stuff upside down.If we see everithing upside down or we woud be very clumsy.

I learned there are many parts to the eye. The cones and rods collect color. I didnt know my eyes are almost exactly like cameras.

I learned that when its dark your pupil gets wider. Also your retina makes things upside down.the eyes are connected to the brain

Anonymous said...

I learned that when you look at things they're actually upside down, but when your brain SEES the image your looking at, it turns it right side up. i also learned that when it's dark out your pupil grows bigger so you can see better. another thing is about the retina. it has little things on it called cones and rods. And something else i learned is the colored part around the pupil.

Matthew said...

I learned that rods catch light. I aiso laerned that cones take in color. And the eyes are connected to the brain.

Ravyn said...

I learned all about the eyes. I learned that the pupils get smaller in the light and bigger in the dark. I also learned about rods and comes.

Hunter said...

There is three main parts of the eye.Millons of rods in your eye.Your cones are thousand of them.
