What’s DNA? DNA is short for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA is something you get from both parents. You could have traits from both parents, like hair color, and eye color. Identical twins have the same DNA, which means they have the same hair color and eye color, but different likes and dislikes. For example, one twin likes rock music and the other likes country, or they might dress different. That’s the wonder of DNA.
