It's Freezing (and Thawing) Out There!

Did you know, that the temperature of which something freezes, is the same temperature of when it melts as well? How can that be? Well, let’s take water for an example. If you have liquid water and the temperature is 32 degrees, the water will start freezing. If you have ice, and its 32 degrees, it will start to melt. 32 degrees for water is a little bit like the slush stage. This is not true for ALL solids and liquids, but it is for most. Each solid and liquid has their own certain temperature of which they melt and freeze.

That is very interesting. I don't really know a lot about that stuff.
