Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Around 600 b.c. the the Hanging Gardens of Babylon was built by Nebuchadnezzar II. It was built where modern day Baghdad is. Nebuchadnezzar II built it for his wife Amytis of the Media. It was built for her because she was homesick. There were many different kinds of plants surrounding the building. It was a beautiful and a very interesting place.
